Clara & Stephen Spicer Chili Cookoff Winners

Congratulations to Clara & Stephen Spicer for their second time winning top honors for their Rajun Cajun Buffalo Chili.

Fun was had by all at the fourth Industrial Strength Chili Cookoff Saturday evening, September 22. More than a hundred guests tasted 12 recipes for chili and salsa, plus some great locally made hot sauce.

Judges were Gulfport City Council members Barbara Banno and Jennifer Salmon, IAC Treasurer David Hastings, and Cherlene Willis of Gulfport Patch.

Many thanks to O’Maddy’s for providing the keg for the fourth year in a row.
